From the Flight Deck

Looking back over 40+ years of service, I realize just how remarkable this journey has been. Starting with a strong foundation in broadcast engineering, communication theory, and hands-on production, I've worked across television, radio, digital media strategy, content creation, production, marketing, and distribution in more forms than I can easily count. It has been a privilege to manage talented teams, produce, direct, and edit hundreds of nationally broadcast radio and television programs, commercials, podcasts, special events, and targeted industrial presentations.

Building a Newscast from the Ground Up

Nine months ago, I completed five years as Executive Producer and News Director for Victory Channel where we built a national television newscast from scratch. That meant reorganizing an existing small staff, recruiting key talent, collaborating with scenic and visual design professionals, and establishing the editorial processes and news standards that delivered consistent, high-quality programming night after night.

Five years at the Victory Channel meant building a national newscast from the ground up — staff, standards, and all.

That was a wonderful chapter and I miss working with the talented and dedicated team that produces Victory News. But now, it's time to focus on the next phase of Audio Aviators.

What Audio Aviators Is Building

The goal is to build on a rich history of service to media organizations by providing compelling message creation, quality content production, access to key audiences, and driving meaningful results. Audio Aviators will also continue to provide media facility design, construction, and engineering consultation, staying at the forefront of evolving technologies as they continue to reshape how we communicate.

“But wait … there's more.”
